Wordless Wednesday…

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these.  But I had some pictures on my phone that I really wanted to share…

This is Sofie…somehow she managed to wrap herself in this blanket…I still don’t know how she did it…

This is a statue that I found while I was walking around, waiting for my car to be repaired.  At first, I was disgusted to see the graffiti, but then I thought it made the statue kind of interesting…

During that same walk, I stopped to sit on a bench and eat breakfast.  These were my breakfast companions…

And, last…this isn’t a very good picture…but it’s a guy in a pink monkey suit, playing a stand up bass in the subway…

Only in NY!

Comments

  1. What I love about New York is that these things don’t seem to faze people in the least. Great pictures (and the one of Sofie is soooo cute!)

  2. The monkey is amazing. I so want to visit NY. Someone like that standing around in my town would probably be arrested or harrassed or accused of public intoxication.

  3. Ok, so if this posts twice…sorry.

The monkey is fantastic! I so want to visit NY. If someone did this in my town he’d be harrassed, arrested, or at the very least accused of public intoxication!

  4. I wish the subways in DC allowed “public performers.” I like that about New York. I want to see a pink monkey playing bass during my commute!

And, shut up, how adorable is Sophie. I love how cool and calm she looks. She’s even got her bone close by, just in case. Love her!

  5. The performers are the Xylopholks (they have a FB page!). I love them! (I somehow got to your blog today and couldn’t help but comment.)
