Random Musings Friday…

Happy Friday!  This was a very long week filled with work turmoil (stay tuned for more info on this next week).  I’m very glad it’s over.  I’m looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend filled with cupcakes (leftover from J’s birthday) and sleep.

Here are this week’s random musings…

  • Last night I was in a cab and we were stuck in traffic on Park Avenue.  We were going so slow that a woman with a cane was walking next to the cab and she passed us.  Now you would think this might be an indication that I should just get out of the cab and walk to my destination.  You would be right of course.  But I didn’t.  Because I’m lazy.
  • I have this thing for George Clooney…I always have…since the Facts of Life days when he looked like this…

Gotta love the mullet.  Now my man George is 49 and he looks like this…

He still does it for me…in a big way.  Am I alone on this?

  • I am leaving you today with some sparkly unicorn fabulousness.  Please enjoy…because there is nothing better than unicorns and Michael Bolton.  I hope the unicorn makes up for the short RMF post today.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

Comments

  1. No, George is still my hunk of choice. He’s still gorgeous.

  2. George has the best smile – with that little eye crinkle that just makes me want to bite him…

  3. Clooney will always be a fox. I think he’s much hotter now than he was back in his Facts days. I could just never get past that feathered mullet.

    Have a great weekend, lady!

  4. NO, you most certainly are NOT alone with your Clooney love. OMG, that man… I would definitely not kick him outta my bed, that’s for sure 😉 I recently had a crush on an older man who totally had a Clooney vibe going for him. Reeeeor.

Damn this soundless work computer because I feel like I could really use me some sparkly unicorn singing Bolton right now. LOL!!!

You know, I noticed some helicopters over the east side last night–there must have been some crazy traffic. I would have stayed put in cab myself :p

  5. George is pretty cool. I love the Ocean’s 11 movies. I probably would not have gotten out of the cab either. I’m lazy like that.

  6. I heart George now, but didn’t then.

I love the unicorn, I’m sending it to all my friends.

  7. I love me some George too! But only the older mature George, not the mullet George.

And it kills me that you talk about being on Park Ave like its no biggie. I would KILL to be in a NYC cab on Park Ave! guh.

  8. First of all, I was just having this debate yesterday over text with a friend on base (yes we live 2 miles from each other and we still text. But she has a cold and I don’t want it). I was hot for George back in the day, but I prefer my crushes to be “good guys” not “bad boys”….like Anderson Cooper or Brian Williams. I know. It’s a disease. I blame the 24-hour news cycle.

Secondly, you should know that I almost NEVER watch videos when people attach them in their blog. And I almost never never finish them all the way through. But I knew if you posted it, it MUST be good. And then, like a train wreck, I couldn’t stop watching! That was approximately 1875938 different types of awesome and I simply have to post one for Champagne Friday. I think I will do the Boyz II Men one. I will totes give you credit for bringing these to light, though. OMG…that was just pure, shear, shining genius….
